When choosing your Invisalign provider, you should consider two things:
#1) Make sure your provider is a licensed orthodontist. Many general dentists offer Invisalign as one of many procedures including crowns and fillings. They will not be able to give the proper attention to your treatment that an orthodontist will. Also, if for some reason you are not happy with your result at the end, an orthodontist will be able to offer placing braces for a couple weeks/months to perfect your smile, usually at no additional cost.
#2) Be wary of anyone that says Invisalign will treat every case as well as braces. This is a lie. While Invisalign will treat many cases as well as traditional braces, more complicated cases will not receive the same level of result that braces will. This does not mean that you shouldn't be able to use Invisalign, but here at Cureton Ortho we will make sure that you know the pros and cons of every treatment option and after you are informed it will be up to you which route you would like to use. We will never pressure you into using Invisalign just because it is a premium treatment option.
